Rowena Perkins studied at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1990.
She has worked in several different artist media for the past 20 years, including:
oil; oil and watercolor monotype; watercolor and acrylics. Her current body of work is acrylics, watercolors, monotypes and linoleum block prints.
Her paintings have been shown in one person and group exhibits on Cape Cod, in New England, New York, and Key West. Her work is in many private collections across the U.S and Europe, and is in the permanent collection of Mass. General Hospital Cancer Center in Boston.
She has designed and sold jewelry and painted wooden boxes, hand-printed textiles and furniture in galleries and art shows in New England.
Teaching experience includes Community Education classes in Orleans, MA.
